On August 20-23, 2019, the IV Seminar on Modern Architecture in the Amazon took place in Boa Vista.

For the first time in Roraima, the event was conducted by the Federal University of Roraima – UFRR. There was also the exhibition of the documentary BERNARDES and visits to the works of architects Sergio Bernardes and Severiano Mario Porto, in Caracaraí.

In continuity with the celebrations of the centennial, the following events will be held at FAU-UFRJ on August 19-20, 2019: opening of the exhibition, seminar and exhibition of films about the legacy of the architect Sergio Bernardes.

Opening of the exhibition ‘Sergio Bernardes, CRITICAL TROPICALISM’ today, July 5, 2019, at NOTE Galery, in Lisbon, Portugal.

The exhibition brings together a series of drawings by the architect Juan Cabello Arribas (JCA), which are instruments to unravel the complex thinking of the architect Sergio Bernardes.

The exhibition is on until August 31, 2019.
